When Andrew, owner of Natural Balance Physiotherapy & Wellness in Cochrane, Alberta, won our Marketing Transformation contest, he wasn't looking for a flashy marketing makeover. Like many small business owners, he wanted to help more potential patients discover his clinic, understand the services available, and feel confident booking an appointment when they needed care.

A few months after launching his new digital marketing strategy, we checked in to see how things were going, and the answer was pretty exciting:

Natural Balance Physiotherapy was already doing a great job caring for the patients walking through its doors. The bigger opportunity was making sure more people in the Cochrane community could find the clinic when searching for physiotherapy and wellness services.

For Andrew, success meant being visible at the right moment and creating an online experience that made it easy for someone to go from "This might be the clinic for me" to "I'm ready to book."

One of the first things we tackled was the clinic's website. Inherited when Andrew purchased the business, the website still reflected an earlier emphasis on massage therapy, even though the clinic's services had evolved.  The goal wasn't to give the website a fresh coat of paint, but rather to create an experience that helped potential patients quickly understand what Natural Balance Physiotherapy offers and confidently take the next step.

The new website includes:

• An FAQ section that demonstrates expertise and answers common questions
  

 Most importantly, the new site was designed around the patient journey. From the moment someone lands on the homepage, finding information and booking an appointment is straightforward.  It was also built with the goal to perform well in both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search experiences, helping more people discover the clinic when they need it.

Helping the Clinic Get Found 

Of course, even the best website can't do much if nobody sees it.  To help Natural Balance Physiotherapy reach more potential patients, Andrew's prize package included priority placements on YellowPages.ca and the Yellow Pages app, along with a Search Engine Marketing campaign.

By leveraging opportunities to rank at the top of the page on Google and Yellow Pages search results, we increased the company’s visibility and helped put the clinic in front of people who were actively looking for physiotherapy and wellness services, not just shopping around.

Making Online Information Easier to Manage

There's another challenge many business owners know all too well: keeping business information accurate everywhere online. A mismatched phone number, outdated hours or incorrect address can create confusion and make it harder for customers to trust what they're seeing.

To allow Andrew to spend less time updating listings and more time helping patients, Natural Balance Physiotherapy & Wellness received a Visibility and Reputation Management solution that allows him to update information across more than 50 sites and apps, respond to reviews, and maintain a consistent online presence, all from the convenience of one platform.
